Working with Grassroots Ministry these fine people will help with establishing a helpful and effective center for learning and growing.
Mrs. Gargannah is a Community Health Worker. She is the kind of woman who is not afraid to step into the fray of any fight if a life is at stake. A recent incident saw her involved in rescuing a man who had been accused of stealing and was about to be beaten to death. They both survived but her phone was damaged in the process. She is very happy about the covered well at the library because it is the first of its kind for the neighbourhood.
Mr. McGee is a Social Worker and advocate for youth. He lives right next door to the property and keeps his eyes and ears open for problems. He is hopeful that the center will provide some opportunity for youth to change their ways and put their war days behind them.
Mr. Kerkulah is a teacher. He is one of James former Bible School students (1990) and donated the land that the library sits on. He sees this as the start of something wonderful for the community.
Mr. Williams is an engineer. He is hoping the library offers some quiet reading spaces and lots of good reading material. He loves books. His advice on placement of things like generators and doors and windows always has the reader in mind.
